“New” Club Tunes into Lifestyle of Today’s Member with Modern, Stylish New Lounge, Media Room, and Sky Terrace, Inspired Dining Options, and New Programming and Initiatives

SAN JOSE - Silicon Valley Capital Club, a member of the ClubCorp family of clubs, has unveiled a dramatic multimillion-dollar makeover that includes a modern and stylish contemporary new decor throughout the “reinvented” club, which features new rooms and amenities, innovative and fresh dining options, plus new programming and initiatives – transforming the club into the region’s premier social and business club for today’s member.

With a goal of Building Relationships and Enriching Lives®, the club’s reinvention offers members more opportunities to relax and have fun, network, and enjoy new dining features. Members can sip wine with friends in the new Vertex Lounge, enjoy sporting and entertainment events on the 103” plasma television in the new Media Room, and take in the sunset on the new Sky Terrace featuring contemporary furniture and outdoor fire pits. The club also now offers a variety of new areas for members to conduct business including Touchdown Rooms for private spaces, high-tech rooms to conduct meetings, and the expanded bar where members can work, connect, or play.

Executive Chef Michael Miller, a Michelin Star award-winner, showcases his talents and culinary creativity with innovative menu options that include “Classic Comfort Foods” with a modern twist, monthly seasonal specials and an expanded focus on his access to local farms, seafood, and organic options.

The reinvention also provides personal and professional growth opportunities through ClubCorp’s national strategic alliances, including access to select online content from the Harvard Business Review, the Mental Training Institute, Core Performance, and W2Wlink.com, a women’s business network.
